Solar-Powered Electric Vehicle Charging Installed at Automobile Dealers Association of Metro Milwaukee Headquarters

EnTech Solutions XcapeMenasha, Wis. – EnTech Solutions, a full-service clean energy solutions provider, has installed a solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging system at the office of the Automobile Dealers Association of Metro Milwaukee (ADAMM). Located at 10810 W. Liberty Drive in Milwaukee, the clean EV charger demonstrates the ability to provide clean, sustainable EV charging separate from the utility grid.

Founded in 1907, ADAMM is made up of 117 new car dealers in southeastern Wisconsin, concentrated in Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties. As the number of electric vehicles being sold continues to grow, the need for charging infrastructure is rapidly increasing.

“Solar powered EV charging systems are the perfect partner for electric vehicles by providing clean sustainable energy without carbon emissions, unlike charging systems powered by fossil fuels,” noted Jim Tolkan, president of ADAMM.

“EVs are here today, and it’s important to understand how much energy they consume and how to best prepare your dealership, said Mike Collom, EnTech Solutions director of strategic accounts. “Consumers who purchase electric vehicles are taking a big step toward supporting a more sustainable future, and clean-energy EV charging takes that even further, eliminating the carbon emissions produced by fossil-fuel charging systems while supporting energy cost management.”

EnTech Solutions will be hosting a seminar and demonstration session on sustainable EV charging at the ADAMM headquarters on Thursday, December 9. ADAMM members, area automotive dealers or others interested in this resilient, sustainable charging technology are welcome to attend. Due to facility size, reservations are required and can be made at this link.
