Steve Nieland

Vice President, Innovation

Steve is the vice president of software engineering and controls at EnTech Solutions. In his role, Steve is responsible for identifying technologies, policies, and differentiated approaches to drive innovative product, process and partner solutions for energy system delivery, monitoring and performance. During his 35-year career he has led multiple efforts in product development, automation, operational transformation, sustainability, lean, quality system development and renewable energy across a variety of industries.

Steve holds degrees in electronics and chemistry as well as having additional studies in paper science, computer science and electrical engineering.  He has been certified by ASQ as an ISO 9000 lead auditor and lead implementer. Steve has served in the past as local chair for the American Chemical Society, as a member of the Executive Committee for the University of Wisconsin -Stevens Point Academy of Letters and Science, as a member of the Biopharma Sustainability Roundtable, and as a business consultant and management mentor.
