EnTech Solutions Team Members Attend & Participate in Recent Industry Events

EnTech Solutions team members recently attended two important energy industry trade shows – RE+ in Las Vegas and RNG WORKS in Nashville. Our team members had some key takeaways from each event.

RE+ 2023

RE+ was developed to enable the sharing of best practices and encourages entrepreneurism in the energy industry, and this year saw over 40,000 attendees from more than 125 countries. Some of the common themes discussed included the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program and how these funds are being distributed. The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) continues to be an important piece to the distributed energy landscape. Businesses are interested in the many energy tax incentives available and how to best take advantage of them.

RE+ attendees noted a lot of industry excitement in general, with people keenly interested in technology advancements taking place that lead to increasing energy resilience and sustainability. Hearing from leaders in energy research confirmed that in many ways we’re seeing just the tip of the iceberg in how the nation and the world will continue to electrify.

We appreciated the opportunity to meet with various industry leaders, product developers and others. Thank you to the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) for a great event.

RNG WORKS 2023

Sponsored by the RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) Coalition, RNG WORKS is a technical program and trade expo designed to educate, promote and demonstrate RNG industry best practices. During this conference, Jacob Feutz, EnTech Solutions vice president of renewable fuels, presented on the impact that distributed energy resources (DERs) can have on reducing carbon intensity (CI) scores at RNG facilities. His presentation included real-world data about our digester facility in Middleton, Wisconsin, where RNG is produced and shipped using clean energy.

RNG WORKS attendees learned about overall developments of RNG and its continued integration in the renewable energy space. RNG is seeing rapid growth in the landfill industry, where owners are capturing methane to convert to natural gas, creating fuel for fleets which are being converted to natural gas vehicles. EnTech Solutions was able to showcase our use of distributed energy resources during the conversion process to help organizations reduce operating expenses.

Thank you to the RNG Coalition for sponsoring this important event.
