2021: A Year of Clean-Energy Solutions

2021 has been a big year for EnTech Solutions! In less than a year from the launch of our brand — but with years of energy experience as part of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) — we’ve completed a number of successful projects, bringing solutions to customers and supporting their needs for cost effective, sustainable and resilient energy.

Here’s a brief recap of some of our highlights for the year.

Bergstrom Automotive EV Charging – When one of the top 50 automobile dealerships in the country came to us with the need to control their energy costs, EnTech Solutions went to work to design and install two clean-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging microgrid systems that provide resilient power separate from the utility grid. Bergstrom is able to provide solar-powered EV charging for their guests, which also supports their corporate sustainability goals. With the exponential growth of the EV market, this charging technology will alleviate demand on the grid while supporting the environment.

Bad River Tribe Microgrids – Severe storms and flooding in 2016 left the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians without power for days. This catastrophic event spurred them to act on their desire for more resilient, sustainable power for their tribal facilities, and they chose EnTech Solutions as their trusted energy partner. Three microgrids were installed to provide clean, resilient power to their administration building, wastewater treatment plant and health & wellness center. Through our energy monitoring capabilities, we are able to optimize their use of energy resources.

Middleton Digester – EnTech Solutions teamed up with Northern Biogas LLC to invest in an active biogas facility which is turning agricultural waste from area dairy farms into valuable renewable natural gas (RNG). The gas produced is used as transportation fuel. To further add to the facility’s sustainability, we installed a DCentrIQ™ microgrid on the site and 2.8 MW of solar, which helps power the facility with clean energy. Our work on this project was recognized with a Climate Champion Award by the Dane County Office of Energy and Climate Change.

Thank you, our customers, partners and followers, for your trust and support through 2021. We have several exciting projects on the horizon and can’t wait to share them with you. All of these successes would not be possible without our experienced and dedicated team members who enable us to provide solutions for our customers every day. Together, we’ll continue to bring new and exciting energy technologies to market.
