Overview: Powering A Large Music Festival
Lifest is one of the nation’s largest Christian music festivals. Nearly 40,000 people attended this family-friendly four-day event in 2022 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, as well as thousands at Lifest Music City in Nashville, Tennessee.
Challenge: The Venue Lacked Ample Grid-Connected Power
Because of the festival ground locations, an off-grid solution was needed in Wisconsin and Tennessee. EnTech Solutions provided temporary event power with Xcape™ microgrids at each site.
Solution: Solar Powered Microgrid Technology
During the 2022 Lifest events, EnTech’s microgrids powered the organization’s electronic ticketing system and information booths at both sites. Electricity generated also powered Lifest’s staff trailers, including lights and air conditioning, along with cellphone charging stations. Though supplemental generator power was included in the microgrids, they were never used; the power was generated entirely with clean solar energy.
